Hello, my baby is 2 years old. His teeth are decaying. I am concerned about this decay. How can I prevent this early decay? I told my friends about this. They advised me to take him to a children's dentist. I searched on the internet to find the reasons behind this early decay. I read an article titled as 'oral health problems in children'. They wrote that one of the reasons for early tooth decay in children is due to the frequent use of drinks such as fruit juices, milk, sugar water or any other sweet drinks. Also, if we are not properly cleaning the mouth after breastfeeding, then that will also contribute to tooth decay. This condition is known as Baby bottle tooth decay. Actually, it is a new information to me. Hope this information will be useful for everyone here. So, I am planning to take an appointment from that clinic in Whitby. But before undergoing the treatment, I would like to know about the treatment. What treatment will be given to a baby to prevent tooth decay? If anybody knows about the treatment and its procedures, please help me with your replies.
