Hi! I have the habit of taking painkillers for almost all pain. I take Opioids whenever I have severe stomach pain and headache. Opioids are very effective in reducing pain. I think I am addicted to it. These days I can't bear even a mild pain. Sometimes I am using these painkillers for no reason. Last day, my mom hide the tablets from me. And I began showing symptoms like severe stomach upset, anxiety and depression. My stomach pain worsened and I was not able to sleep at night. Today morning, my mom told me that she is going to take me for an addiction treatment program in Vancouver. What is addiction treatment program? How is it performed? Is there anyone who had attended this program? How was your experience? Please share!
