Hi, I am making this post for my mother. She is suffering from sciatica. She is working in a retail shop. Her job demands standing for about 8 hours on foot. The pain is making her desperate and she is unable to go to work. My father passed away three years back and she has no one to support her in this old age, except for me. I am staying with my bf and I have to be with him because he is physically challenged. I have asked her to use anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) and muscle relaxants. But, it is not showing any effect. Our family doctor advised having physical therapy and suggested a clinic which provides chiropractic treatment in Burlington. My mother is 62 years old. Can she undergo a chiropractic treatment at this age? Will she need surgery? Please give some genuine replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance.
