I am insecure about my skinny lips since my teenage days. Thin lips are regarded as very ugly and undesirable. I compare my lips to every single person I see and their lips beat mine. People with thin lips are stereotyped as being bad kissers. Also, they are considered not good for having oral sex. I have been teased a lot for my ugly lips. I am planning to have lip fillers. But, I have an inflamed blister (cold sore ) near my mouth, which is caused by infection with the herpes simplex virus. I have heard that anyone who has a history of cold sores should take prevention medication two days before the procedure and that the injections could trigger a cold sore. Is it true? If I eventually decide to stop getting injections, will my lips return to their original state?
